Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Old Photo Restore, operated by BookAI Studio, a DBA of BrightSpan Holdings LLC ("we", "us"). By using the service you agree to these terms.

The service

The service uses AI to restore old and damaged photographs: sharpening faces, removing scratches, and colorizing black-and-white images. Restoration is interpretive — the AI reconstructs detail that may differ from the original scene — so restored photos are best treated as enhanced keepsakes, not as evidence or archival records.

Your content

You keep ownership of photos you upload and of the restorations generated from them, subject to these terms. Only upload photos you own or have permission to edit, and keep your own backups of irreplaceable originals — uploads are processed as provided and we are not responsible for your only copy of a photo.

Credits and payment

Restoration features consume credits sold in packs on the pricing page. Payments are processed by Stripe. Except where required by law, used credits are not refundable; unused pack credits remain on your account while it is active.

Availability and liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
